The Global Bank Disaster Risk Reduction and Reconstruction Fund – An Umbrella Trust Fund (the “Trust Fund,” “GB DRRRF,” or “DRRRF”) is jointly managed by Global Bank’s Climate Change Department and by the Global Bank’s Regional Departments (the “Manager”). Global Bank is organised into six client-facing Regional Vice-Presidencies, and several corporate functions; and it is introducing 14 thematic Global Practices and 5 Cross-Cutting Practices to provide the best-in-class solutions to regional and country clients.
Global Banks's Senior Management Team shapes the DRRRF’s strategy, policies and work ethic. It draws from years of experience and a variety of cultural backgrounds to maximise the institution’s development impact and financial sustainability. Members of Global Banks's Senior Management Team, identified in the Global Bank Disaster Risk Reduction and Reconstruction Fund – An Umbrella Trust Fund Website, have distinguished records in economic policymaking and or in other business disciplines at the very senior levels in both international organisations and the private sector. They have demonstrated the managerial and diplomatic skills needed to lead a global institution and sustain Global Bank’s active and effective role in global economic management.
