Bruce A. Harbin is the Secretary of the Board of Directors of the Global Bank Infrastructure Project Preparation Facility (the "GBIPPF Board of Directors"), Deputy General Counsel for the Management Complex of Global Bank, and Acting Senior Vice President and Interim General Counsel.
Bruce A. Harbin is the Secretary of the Board of Directors of the Global Bank Infrastructure Project Preparation Facility (the "GBIPPF Board of Directors"). The GBIPPF Board of Directors is responsible for overall supervision and control of the Facility. Mr. Harbin is the Deputy General Counsel for the Management Complex of Global Bank and Acting Senior Vice President and Interim General Counsel. The Legal Vice Presidency Unit includes geographically-based regional practice groups devoted to legal aspects of the Bank's lending operations; cross-regional Advisory Practice Groups, which provide specialized sectoral advice and services; and corporate practice groups, which provide advice on corporate financial, administrative, and institutional matters.
For over 29 years of his career Mr. Harbin has sat on assignment as a Temporary Judge, Arbitrator and Mediator. He is also a published author, educator (Adjunct Law Professor). He is admitted to practice before the U. S. Supreme Court; U.S. Tax Court; U.S. Court of Appeals - Ninth Circuit; U.S. District Courts (Northern, Southern & Central). Harbin was appointed managing counsel of the California operation of a multi-state law firm before becoming the General Counsel for a California based Savings & Loan. His work included product development, securities, compliance and governance.
